I’m Gerdinant — inventor, maker and the founder of GoatCorp. GoatCorp started as a simple, stubborn idea: collect every weird little invention, sketch and print in one place and give anyone — skilled or not — a real chance to earn from their ideas. The name stuck because when I was seven my friends called me a “goat” (in my Dutch dialect my name can sound a bit like goat), and now I want to be the GOAT — the Greatest Of All Time — for makers and creators who want to build something real.
Where I make things
I design and prototype most things at home, in a small workshop I share with my parents. I test ideas fast and often — sometimes a sketch becomes a working prototype the same day. For production we work with partners worldwide: print-on-demand items are fulfilled through distributed POD partners, while 3D prints are produced in workshops in the USA and the UK. That lets GoatCorp stay flexible and low-waste while getting good quality to customers wherever they are.
Tools, process and how I work
I love tools — every one of them. My main workhorse right now is a Siteswipe 3D printer, and I’m building a GoatCorp server/AI machine to manage designs and ideas more smartly. I have ADHD, which means ideas come fast and I move quickly. That’s one of GoatCorp’s strengths: rapid testing, quick prototypes, and an experimental shop that changes often.
Typical process:
-
Sketch an idea
-
Build a quick prototype (fast test)
-
Iterate and refine based on what works
-
If a product shows promise I do longer research and a proper prototype cycle
When GoatCorp grows, I plan to run more formal cycles: three weeks of research, three weeks of design/refinement, and then four weeks to build a first proper prototype. For now, though, speed and experimentation help us find the best ideas faster.
A project I’m proud of
One of my favorites is an elder care robot prototype I worked on because I love helping people. It started as a small experiment and became something that showed real value — a reminder that even quick projects can solve big problems.
Why GoatCorp is different
GoatCorp isn’t driven by profit-first motives. I care about helping the maker community: people with sketches, ideas, or finished designs. If you’ve got a tiny idea, you can still submit it and get paid; if you can design and upload final files, you’ll earn more per sale. That community-first attitude means GoatCorp is experimental, honest, and maker-run — not a faceless factory.
How submissions & payouts work:
-
Idea submission reward: €1 per sale when an idea is produced.
-
Finished design reward: €2 per sale for uploaded designs that are used.
(Exact payouts and terms are listed on our submissions page.)
Production, shipping & returns
Production and shipping times depend on the product and destination — POD items and 3D prints ship from different partners, so each product page shows an estimated production time and shipping window. At the moment GoatCorp does not accept standard returns; check each product page for the exact policy or contact us if something arrives damaged — I’ll personally look into it.
Who GoatCorp is for
GoatCorp is for people who want to make money online, start a company, or launch their ideas without heavy upfront costs — creators, streamers, inventors, hobbyists, and anyone curious enough to try. Whether you want to submit a one-line concept or upload a finished 3D file, there’s a place for your work here.
